Am I the only one confused by the OP:confused:

Let me elaborate. Brian Lake is in the Western Bulldogs reserves for some unknown reason our defence is next-to-putrid, well the key defenders anyway.

Brian Lake is a wonderful quick fix solution.

Yes, this is optimism, but let me believe.

Think he is suggesting we may have lost by more if he was playing? Correct me if I'm wrong.
He must have meant to put a winking emoticon at the end of the sentence. That would indicate we should be looking to trade for him? If that's the case I am now 'bemused';)

Thanks for clearing that up:thumbsu: Now let me tell you unambiguously what I think:

No:)

What the guy that was a bit a fav for the brownlow last year. With our defence I'd still have him if he was 35.
Good win by the BoSox against the scum today.

Pretty sure he's injured, that's why he isn't playing.

Didnt play reserves or seniors for willi this week. So I would assume injured as well.
He is at willi for bad form though.

Do maybe...the least amount of research.

He is aging --> his body is starting to fall apart --> he didn't manage even half a pre-season --> he has no match fitness whatsoever --> he ends up in the VFL.

How about no mate? Richmond has shown us what happens when we top up with mature age recruits instead of building a real side.

These typical loss-inspired threads get worse and worse :o

Great win for Beckett's confidence, good to be leading the series 5-1, despite having a below par season.
Shocking season, but good signs today. Always good to beat the filth in their own filthyard.
(off topic I know, but this thread isgoing nowhere anyway:D)

My sister mate lives next door to lakes. Spends a lot of time with his missus, and from all accounts the very last bloke you'd want at your footy club is Brian Lake.

what a load of crap, you have been found out mr rodney im full of crap dangerfield. ive met his wife and she is the nicest women you will every meet. claiming you know someone that lives next to them is quite extreme!!!

I called Brian 10 minutes ago for a quick chat about this particular thread, he said he is having a meeting with dimma tomorrow about a 5 year contract and 5 year plan at richmond

He didn't say what his missus is like. The missus might be lovely as pie, just Brian wouldn't be suited to the club.
I've met Chopper Reed, he seemed like a nice guy.
i've met John Howard, he seemed like an arrogant prick.

Knucklehead. Read it properly. My sisters best mate lives next to them. They both love his missus and say exactly what you do-she's lovely.Hang out with her and Cooneys missus and there are only kind words. No time for Brian.

nyer nyern yer nyer nyer nyer.

I dump upon thee, thread that this has become.

Only looked with the prospect of out of form established monster full back looming as a recruiting target.

did the happy clappy wives club say anything about the Great western wastelands?

Give me (potential trade bait) Sam Fisher any day of the week!

Thats a, wait for it no from me too!!!!:D

I didn't have to think about it because I am glad he is old twenties because if he was 23 he still would be a no from me. I don't rate him and Scarlett/Fletcher are twice the players at least!!!!

Tugga

Please close this thread and move it to OP as it relates to non-Richmond players (consistent with all the other threads that have been closed on similar topics).

Cheers
