That only results in ill-will if Chapman took it personally and it affected their relationship. It was obvious that there was a breakdown in GAJ's relationship with Bomber, we never saw any sort of breakdown like that between Chapman and Scott, regardless of whether those two decisions were correct or not.

You haven't been reading Biggy's posts then because he's been going on and on and on and..............about it. He gets aroused whenever the little bald Essendon player gets mentioned. Correct call by the people - plural - who decided he was cooked as it has been shown.

Wasn't cooked at the end of 2013. Wasn't cooked last year. Still could have played a role this year.

I knew about Biggy's anti-Scott fixation, but not the Bald Man love.

Also agreed - Chapman went on one year too long. He was always going to have to be carried off in a box, though.

2015: 8 games, 8 goals, 100 touches.

Was still an AFL-finals-standard player last year, but has gone one year too far. Only five or so other players from his draft are still playing (Murphy, Pavlich, Enright, Shaw), so no shame in that.
 
Yes but Pods was only with us for a few years and has been gone for about the same. Very talented player and I understand Coach.
 
This thread is about Pods not Chappy. Keep it about Pods, his return as a coach or this will get closed.

I'm happy for him to have been learning the coaching gig elsewhere for a while. Hope he jumps around a little more before he comes back but, yeah, he'd be one of my favourites as well.

It's strange but I took a few years to learn to love Selwood- he's really grown on me, though. I was angry with him for stealing what I was certain was GAJ's Carji in 2010 but probably should've blamed Thompson for that, not Joel. It wasn't his fault but I always saw him as the coaches' pet. Now I've watched him grow into the captain's role, he's risen quickly into my list of favourite players as well :)

Then thank goodness you have nothing to do with selection. Pods is cooked as a top line player. The thread is going nowhere.He'll get a gig with the Crows and we have no coaching vacancies.
