I think playing AFL in 28 degree temp indoors would classify as being hot.

geez thats a blast from the past, can recall watching him in a game for Mitcham Vs Croydon in the EFL some years ago where he was on the end of some of the worst feral behavior I have ever seen from supporters making collingwood maggots look like girl guides in comparrison..

So because he's a professional footballer, he's not allowed to make the observation that it was hot. What is wrong with that? He wasn't making it up, it was actually hot, and said so. What did you want him to say......"the conditions were the same for both teams out there".........."we're taking it one week at a time".........and other BS cliches.

or cold he should be more professional and worry about more important issues

Why don't you give Gas a break, he did ok considering the circumstances.
It wouldn't just be hot with the roof closed, but humid, which I'm sure is not a condition that everyone has to play in all the time.

The club needs to clamp down on this type of behaviour straight away. Players start off commenting on the weather, and the next thing you know they'll be discussing current affairs or reality tv!
