A question for you Collingwood fans.

I work in a call centre. Couple of months back, I spoke to a guy who said he was involved within the Collingwood footy team.

He said a lot of Collingwoods problems stemmed from Nathan Buckleys attitude. Apparently he was a cancer on the team, however it was only a short call and he didnt go into to much detail. Can anyone elaborate any more on this?

Also, someone told me a while ago now that Heath Scotland had gone to Mick Malthouse and said he was every bit the player Buckley was, but was being robbed of opportunity. Apparently the two didnt get along, which led to Scotland leaving. Do you Pie fans think losing Scotland has hurt your team at all? He did have an impact during those GF years.

Plus Bucks had a fight with Taz.
Mick hates Bucks because Bucks and Christie were at it.

Why would losing a dud hurt the club? I thought it was the other way around.

Firstly there is only one buckley
and secondly i have also heard that alot of players dont get on with bucks (paul williams being the obvious example) dunno if there is any truth in it but i guess it would make sense!

I think you got a couple of stories mixed up. Malthouse is the one with cancer. Buckley is the one fighting with Tarrant who is the one sleeping with Tania. I think Straughney is now the one sleeping with Christie. Brodie is a whanker, Eddie is a tanker, Balmey is blanker and I don’t know why we didn’t get a first rounder for Fatboy Cole but I do know everyone hates everyone at Collingwood except for Wayne Carey who is universally loved by all.

Losing Scotland wasn't a big deal. He wasn't a vital cog in the engine, but still a handy player.

And Bucks...I don't think there is an element of truth there at all.

Last time I watched Carlton play, Scotland was dropped because of bad form. That says a lot when your team wins the wooden spoon.

during my time spent at collingwood earlier this year, it appeared that Bucks didnt really talk to any of the other players. The only player he talked to, that i saw was burnsie, and the conversation was based solely on football. I think the reason that bucks doesnt get along with anyone else, is because of his work ethic and desire to be the best. He was always the one with the footy in his hand, he was the first one on the training track, and then the last one off. I think that people get annoyed at his anti-socialness...
