I was in Atlanta shortly before the 96 Olympics, and found that the people were all friendly, but had absolutely no sense of humour whatever when I told them that the most famous Georgian of all time was Joseph Stalin.

Don't get me wrong I like Americans and love the place. Its just that every state has a place named after somewhere overseas, like Melbourne Florida, Birmingham, Lebanon, Paris, Palestine and Geelong. And some Americans think the "real" places are named after their towns.
