Big two nights of Buffy action starting tonight at 10:45 - Willow is turning all witchypoo again to seek revenge for the shooting of Tara.

Tomorrow night is the season finale - 2 hours beginning at 9:30 (well here in Melb not sure about other states). Will be interesting to see how they finish the series off given how wacky (and boring!) it has been to date.

I don't like it. For some reason female tomboys rub me up the wrong way.

Buffy did her best work in Cruel Intentions. Why can't she come across as horny on Buffy?

Tomboy? Ever seen Buffy playing in mud? Climbing trees? No I think not.

Maybe your dislike of tomboys is more a fear of being beaten by a girl :D :D :D (just ask Hitman how that feels ;) )

Seriously, I thank God I have Foxtel. I can get my Buffy fix every day if I want. Can't have too much of a good thing. :)

The last episode is on tonight, a special 2 hour show, what's the betting that spike comes back to his hide out after getting the chip out of his head & finds Dawn there & either kills her, or turns her into a vampire, now that would be a fantastic ending. :D

Oooooooooooooh yeah Dawn as a Vamp, that would be great. However, won't happen, I've read that the last series will be based around Sunnydale High again (well the new replacement), which means there may be more of a focus on Dawn perhaps?
 
The now-you-see-his-skin-now-you-don't trick was pretty good.

Strangely enough it led to a discussion today as to whether that would have been enough to kill Warren, or if he was killed simultaneously by Willow by some unseen magic and that was just a visible party trick, or whether the bullet killed him or whether he merely passed out from his lack of skin :D and died when Willow did the little flamey thing.:)

Just a hunch..But knowing this show probably wrong , Joss knows how to surprise and twist the knife..

As for Spike - I really wanted to see him back as an evil Vamp next season - damn that soul :mad:

Now just a qn - WHY THE BLOODY HELL DID WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH 20odd CRAP EPISODES WHEN THE LAST 3 HOURS PROVED THEY CAN WRITE GREAT STUFF :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
A great build up but a sh*tty ending. The whole 2 hrs i was thinking there would be some massive battle towards the end, but noooo, they had to make it a stupid "i love you so please stop" ending. Surely they could have given Zander (sp??) some superdooper powers that made him beat the crap out of Willow and be the hero?
 
I thought the ended was lame, just like the entire series. It has been disappointing considering how enjoyable the previous were.

The evil Willow was great. I was cheering for her when she telling Dawn about all her whining. I’ve been thinking the same thing for months.

Looking forward to Angel tonight. Unlike the Buffy series, Angel has been outstanding, IMO. So many question to answer.
 
That would have to be the worst season of Buffy! As an avid Buffy fan I was really dissapointed in this season. The last few episodes made me sick (Warren killing his girlfriend, Spike's attempt to rape Buffy), and I'm glad it's over. Good last episode though! Great to see the legendary git (Giles) back in action! Oh, and yeah Xander! ;)

My question for you all now is: Who's going to be the next slayer? Buffy died at end of last season yes? So that means there's yet another slayer lurking around! Wow, 3 slayers! Maybe it's time they took over the world.....well after Faith does a jail break! :D

Spike with a soul? NOT HAPPY! We needed a good old fashion Vampire Vs Slayer series! Bring back Dru!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:

As for Angel! Bring it on! Apart from the whole bit where Gru is going to leave! Stupid Cordelia! Grrrrrrrrrrrr! :mad:
 
IMO this and last series were on a par as being the worst.

However, looking forward to next series after hearing they're going to get back to the basics, Vampires and slayings.

I WANT VAMPIRE SPIKE BACK.

Xbinny - I'm not sure if Buffy technically died at any stage - I have wondered the same thing though. It did sound like Dawn (whinge, whinge whine) will get some slaying action next series though.

I was having a huge arguement with my man last night whether there'd be another Slayer or not. Since Buffy's gift was "death" and she was indeed buried and in a 'heaven like dimension' it's only fit to say that she was infact dead, therefore there should be another slayer lurking somewhere!
Also have to agree about last season, not one of their bests, and so sad that it can be better than this one! What's the world coming too? It all comes down to: BRING BACK the Vampire Vs Slayer stuff!

Don't think I can handle a whole season based around Dawn. They've really made her character whiney, and quite annoying!

Hoping Spike doesn't come back to Sunnydale. As much as I love Spike, he's just no good as a "good guy". They can't make Spike into Angel! It's just not right!

My thoughts? BRING BACK FAITH!!!!!! But a big question there, if Faith ever came back, would she be on Angel or Buffy? She was last seen on Angel, but does that mean she'll stay with that show? If she comes back at all? :confused:

Sorry - thought you were referring to her being shot last week. Yes, I wonder where the lurking slayer is.

As for Faith - refresh my memory - she's in prison or something isnt she?

As for Spike - I thought the popularity of the show came from the first 3 seasons of traditional slayings NOT romance storylines. The only thing that kept me interested in the early romance b/n Buffy and Angel was the times he'd go back to being evil. I am disappointed - if I wanted romance, I'd hire out a Meg Ryan movie.....

I have never bothered with watching Angel - so I'm no help there.
 
Faith is indeed in jail! Can't remember how long they said, but no doubt she'll be out WAY before her parole is due!

I'm thinking since Buffy is on it's last legs that Faith will indeed come back into Angel (if she comes back at all). But is there room enough for 3 leading ladies? That may be a bit crowded!

I liked the whole Buffy/Angel love thing....until it got uncontrolably lame, and boring. But it was good with them two when they were fighting Spike and Dru. And then the whole Buffy giving Angel a "happy", and him turning evil! Now that was brilliant story writing! Then we've got the whole love/hate-must-kill-him-now scenario!

The only bad thing about the Angel/Buffy thing was Buffy being in tears all the time! It drove me up the wall. She was so solemn and broody, where it's Angel's job to be like that, not hers!

Spike needs to be evil! Maybe Buffy can give him a "happy", and all will be fun again! :D
 
You're all mad! Last nights Buffy was the best EVER! They couldn't have written it any better.

Willow was amazing on the dark side. She was scaring me.

And Spike? Don't stress. I don't think giving him a soul will mean he gets all soppy and nice. He DOESN'T want the soul remember. He wanted the chip out of his head. I'm guessing next year he'll be doing all he can to get rid of the chip AND the soul.

After last night I have faith in the writers again. :)
 
Best EVER? Surely not Mandy! You really think so?

I would have put the Buffy Vs Angel fight as the best ending to a series! By far!
 
The thing i didn't like about this series was spike screwing buffy and Anya. Thats what i thought was a dissapointment.

If i wanted to see that i would turn it to s.b.s:p

But besides that it was great.

That was pretty bad - especially seeing as they'd already done the whole Slayer shagging bad Vampire turned good thing before.

HOWEVER, the entire series was pretty ridiculous - those 3 twits who wanted control over the world just overstepped the mark IMHO.

And that dopey dog looking demon thingy - WTF?????? I must have missed the show he made his debut - but he's pretty pathetic.
