Buying MCG tickets for round 9 query

I'm taking my old man and my bro over to Melbourne for round 9 and we'll go to the Collingwood and Hawthorn games at the G and I'm just trying to work out which tickets to buy off ticketek.

What are my options as far as seating goes, none of us are members, although my friend and his dad have MCC membership, I'm sure he'd be happy to help us out if MCC members get better seating.

Hi there. The best way to guarantee a seat, especially to the bigger matches, is to pre-purchase a reserved seat at Ticketek. You can do that now for any of the games you want to attend.

While everyone has a view about which seats are best, you can just choose the best available via Ticketek's website and then simply scan the ticket at the gate when you arrive.

Sweet, took your advice and have tickets en route. Was a struggle getting anything near the Ponsford stand for the Collingwood game but still probably got better seats than rocking up on the day and buying tickets.

You probably would have got great seats for the Hawthorn game that weekend just by turning up, they wouldn't have got that much against Gold Coast.....
