Seems to be out of favour.

From what I've seen of him he has nice receiving and finishing skills and not much else. Would fill a role for the Pies.

What would the Eagles want for him. And please don't be exhorbinant as he has played 13 games in 2 years.

I'm looking through your list, and I'm not filled with enthusiasm.

Who would you put on the table for him?

Shane O'Bree, although he is surplus to your requirements I feel.

Chambers would be ranked 30+ on your list at the moment, so I don't think you'd be asking for too much.

Definitely tradeable, mainly because the likes of Butler have made it very difficult for him to get a place in the team- his problem is that his biggest strengths- his pace, very good skills and goal kicking ability- happen to be a set of commodities which our top line midfielders don't really lack. Being an outside finisher midfielder at West Coast is probably the hardest gig in the league in terms of earning a place in the team. There's a pool of around six players competing for 1 bench spot.

THis year he's generally been an instant offence player- will come off the bench and gather 15 touches and a goal or two without much fuss- i imagine he could do more if given more time.

His biggest weaknesses are a perceived lack of grunt, and also it seems an inability to travel, the latter makes me think he might be far better at a melbourne based side.

What do we want for him? Well I think that depends on other dealings but it could be the key to getting the Stenglein deal done. Looking at Collingwood's list though, I'm struggling to see anything tradeable that we would want, and the draft picks seem precisely in the wrong places for us- too high or too low. Some kind of deal involving Tarkyn Lockyer could be of benefit to both clubs I imagine. Other than that, it would probably be draft picks to give us more leverage in our other trades.

#12 + Chambers for #7?

#28 + Chambers for a pick in the #15-20 range?

Both those deals would be used because as one of our more tradeable commodities, we really need to use Chambers as part of any deal to get Stenglein or Hay to our club.

If at the end of tradeweek those deals were done or ruled out and we still had Chambers in hand, Chambers for #23 sounds okay to me.

A third round draft pick to replace the one we spend on young Morton - then pick up a good local youngster with it. That'll do.

So tell me (and correct me if we have not just delisted Carroll) just who do you propose will be our relief tall defender if either Glass or Lynch go down next year?

I am looking down our list and see NO one.
Hunter not tall enough!
Staker not ready yet!
Graham see Staker.

That should be a concern to us all.

So unless we trade for a tall defender we are very vulnerable.

I am open to suggestions as too who we either trade or draft, but we need to address this deficiency and fast.

Graham would have to step up - a bit scary, but I don't know that he would do that badly...

Chambers has no trade value. In all honesty we'd be rapt to get a bag of potato chips for him. Likely tol be delisted, so if the pies are interested they can get him in the pre-season draft.
Disagree - he's of little value to us - but may be of value to someone like Collingwood who don't have much legspeed.

We'd need a couple of teams after him in the PSD to make anyone trade for him however, and it'd probably be for a late 3rd or early 4th round pick...

Was going to suggest our round 4 pick actually, but thought I'd be shouted down. I woulddn't be disappointed if that happened.

he'd be a handy pick up for a 4 rounder from your point of view. He's not a bad player, just can't get a look in in the eagles midfield. The match committee seem to prefer Adkins to him. I hope someone does pick Callum up.

However, as you are Collingwood (and hence scum of the earth) only a first rounder will do ;)
