When watching footy on TV, I've become use to getting pretty good coverage working up from 2 cameras in black and white throught to nowdays where we have scores of cameras.

The coverage yesterday had me reaching for the Bex. I got totally confused at times with all the camera angles and where tha ball actually was. Being a sports director for footy can't be that hard. Are they trying to show the footy from too many angles?.

KISS - keep it simple stupid.

I haven't watched too many of the Sunday Ch9 games this year, so I don't know if it's a SCG thing or a Rugby background director, but the amount of low-boundary line level shots yesterday was awful! You couldn't see what was happening... who was on a lead, shepherding or anything.

Very poor. I'd prefer a constant wide-shot to the up close and personal shot during the play.
