Hi i am a Bulldogs member and i was interested to see that some Crows supporters wouldn't mind getting Cam Faulkner of us.
I can tell you we have big plans for him to go into the midfield and if you notice we have moulded him into a stronger bodied type.
He is no doubt a required player and the only way we would consider a deal is if you guys made us a decent offer.
What do you Crows supporters think of him and what woud you offer for his services?
cheers.

I don't think we will go after him. I mean now that we have a coach who likes to build his side around Doughty, Shirley and Skipworth we won't be needing Faulkner

You forgot to mention your mate Mattner.

As a Centrals man, I'd love to see Cam at the Crows.

straight swap Brett Burton for Cameron Faulkner

Do it.

Makes sense really, Faulkner will turn out to be a very good player and of course would be playing for Centrals for a bit hehe (bias in THAT decision)

I think we should have a real crack at both Faulkner and Minson. Both are out of contract, both SA lads and both seem to have a bright future.

Please AFC time to get some quality youth on our list and you can start during the trading period by getting Damon White, Daniel Bell, Cam Faulkner and Will Minson

Is Minson that tall guy that tries to smash everyone?
Yep :D

Apparently his on field and off field persona couldn't be more different. Off field is a really intelligent and calm lad a straight As student. On field he is a brutal monster and just what we need :D

thats exactly why you arent our recruiting manager

you dont trade Burton who is 25, a pretty consistent performer for us, for a bloke who has played 2/3 games for a team that is struggling for quick young midfielders, just because Burtons disposal lets him down a bit i dont think its fair t trade him, this year riccuitos disposal has been fairly ordinary but i dont see calls for him to be traded, admittedly his captain and a brownlow medalist but it isnt an excuse for his disposal!

I think if you look a little deeper at the issue here, you might find that Faulkner, would love to be back in his home enviroment, he is of Aboriginal decent and they openly feel best when surrounded by family, which if the gamble was taken and the trade made, you would find his performances would justify the trade, PLUS, John Reid himself has touted him as the next Andy McLeod, fairly high praise. Now IMO, Burton has 2 things going for him,1) he can jump and 2) he has endurance to run all day. What goes against him? His disposal, can't break tackles, can't AFFECT tackles, his frame is too light to be a impact marking player AND he is injury prone! Roo is 1 of probably 8 players on the AFC list which is untradeable(IMO) Thats why you don't see calls for him to be traded, AND you don't trade away your club captain!!

He got a few weeks for cleaning up Cameron Ling trying to apply a block.
Will Minson is one of our "untouchables" and will be our ruckman the next 10 years. He is developing nicely under Scott Wynd.
