Hopefully, it's just a stunt and the Captain is not really dead. I believe he was a good character and displayed what was right with the US (by taking on the government when they got out of line). Here are some links for those who can't wait:

I doubt that it will take that long. Might be interesting to compare it to the "Death Of Superman" storyline from (mumble) years ago !
