Hey all,

Just wondering what cash you have left over.
Due to the byes and uncertainty of how things will pan out, I am currently hanging onto $204K.
I am just thinking that the cash will be very useful in any early trades after byes etc. have started to take effect. eg. Ablett etc. Or even covering for early injuries. I am just concerned that you may lose a couple of players through injury, then other teams have byes and all of sudden you are getting donuts with no cash in bank.

Any thoughts?

its a theory thats been asked before and will be asked again in the future.....I like to use it. If youre comfortable with the side youve picked then it turns out you have 200k in your pocket for "ron" then good for you.

Last year and this year I've ended up with about $100k left in the bank while being happy with my team. It can be handy to have a bit of leeway to play with to make up for mistakes. I went Tippett to Brown with it last year after the first two barnstorming weeks... obviously not perfect, but I was only $1000 short of going Tippett to Chapman which would have set me up for the year.

Yep, cash in the bank is good for early trades when you need to get a player/get rid of a player within the first 3-4 rounds, otherwise you might as well use it, especially $200k. With having the extra trades this year I wouldn't be as worried about it.
