Celtics dump Telfair

Well this experiment failed big time.

Ainge has made some good decisions over the last few years at draft time, but this wasn't one of them.

If ANY team gets him for a VERY cheap contract, then they've done very well.

Still young, came straight out of HS, has potential and carries guns.

That was one major **** up by Ainge. He traded away Roy for Telfair. OUCH!!!!!!

True and Teo is an expiring contract next season while LaFrentz has some years left but from Portland's perspective it was still a very good deal.

Telfair has out stayed his welcome with the Blazers and Celtics were desperate enough to take him on.

The only thing that offsets this slightly is that by Telfair being so bad we got to see how potentially good Rondo could be.

Which makes the Rondo trade look like a masterstroke after the Telfair stuff up.

Looks like a trade will be sought.
