Armfield...........2..........1...........67...............0
Hampson..........2.........5...........29................2

Russell, Yarran (3pts), Laidler, Duigan, White and Joseph all have 1 goal.

Negatives:
Quite simply and obviously not accurate enough.
There are a number of players in the lower bracket of % with great skills; we need to improve in this area,
we need to have some 'go-to' midfielders that kick more goals than points.

Positives:
Spread of goal kickers!
23 goal scorers in 10 rounds.
Great goal assist numbers from many players.

All in all I think this is a positive story.
Carlton will improve in accuracy over the course of the season I'm sure.
We have some talent to come into the team that will help our forward structure.

edit: I see your point, just checked a couple of other sites and the Blues website seems way off.
Our goal accuracy % is not as bad as our site would suggest.
Will change the OP.

I think the sentiment remains the same though.

Here are some stats that highlight a little more than how accurate someones shot at goal is. Shows how damaging each player is by including their score assits in some calculations. Although the player hadnt scored the goal, the assist is still an important stat. The stats also show what %age of their touches result in score involvements(S.I) and how many touches it takes to have a score involvement. Just to clarify, a score involvement is either a goal a behind or a assist.

Notes:
-Judd is obviously our least accurate in front of the sticks
-32 rushed behinds
-Not enough mids scoring regularly, but our forwards are quite damaging.
-52% of the time when the ball is in out F.50 we score (rushed behinds included, stat isnt 100% accurate becauses we might get multiple scores from i50 entries ie. Intercept a kickout)

EDIT 1:SORRY BOUT THE BAD FORMATTING, WONT ACCEPT TABLES!

EDIT 2: interesting to notice that although scotland has no problems finding the ball, he isnt so damaging with it, way too many touches per score involvement, same could be said for laidler and russel

Waite and Gibbs have been the most disappointing in my eyes. Waite needs to be able to judge his limitations regarding distance a bit better and look for the pass a little more when he gets those 40ish metre boundary line type shots.

Gibbs just needs to chill out, the goals he has missed have mainly been sitters where he had more time to adjust but panicked and missed.

On the plus side Simmo has been more reliable than I can ever remember him being, massive improvement on 2010.

Waite and Gibbs have been the most disappointing in my eyes.

That said, kudos to both of them for having 9/8 goal assists respectively.

Impressive from Gibbs given the amount of time he's spent in the backline and in defensive roles.

Thornton is currently the most accurate at 83% forget he's had less shots to stuff up compared to the traditional forward six but that's not a horrible mark against T-Bird either.

I do think we are horrible on the run with shots and slightly better with set shots minus Robinson and Warnock.

Interesting to see that Scotland hasn't kicked a goal all year despite being in career best form and having kicked 10 last year.

IMO we should be trying to get it into his hands abit more from outside 50. He's one of the few that is deadly from that range on the run.
