Anyone else heard of this Adelaide band? What are your thoughts?

Some think they sound similar to Evanescence but they have been around a little bit longer then them. So if you like Evanescence support Australian music, head over to their website and listen to a few of their MP3s at:

Saw them once in Melbourne at the Tote, I liked them, but not really my taste in music (I think it's the vocal style that doesn't sit well with me)... their new stuff sounds really cool. Not sure how to compare them, though there are a few European bands that are similar in style.

Seen them a couple of times supporting power and prog metal bands.

The chick vocals are a bit different, not the worst. I think the keyboards are very odd in their entire make-up, and as good as they might be individually, I don't think they gel very well as a whole. Whether it was just an off night sound-wise, or their songs were poor, I don't know.

Best part of it is the three backing singers that usually stand at the front of the stage. The brunette that (usually) stands in the middle is a knockout.

Very average band IMHO, a bit bland, but there's potential with some tinkering.
