AFL Club
West Coast
Getting in early.

In: M. Allen, Rotham, Waterman
Out: Venables, Schofield, O. Allen

Brander was invisible until the fourth but no idea what the club expects, bringing him in with a pretty vague role against yet another good team on the road. Let the kid string two games together, let him play at home for once, see if he can figure it out.

Oscar is going to be a star but has had a really difficult month after his blistering start.

Good changes although Venables has battled hard today but I do agree M.Allen needs to come in for someone. Hell, retain O.Allen and play him in Darling's role and send Darling to the WAFL for Waterman into O.Allen's role.

Yep 3 kpf doesn’t work except it’s with waterman since he runs.
Effectively Allen is taking lecras old role but he’s not handled it. He’s just blocking the path of Darling and Jk. Maybe his inclusion caused the Fwd synergy to die

OUT: Cole, O.Allen
IN: M.Allen, Waterman

Gaffs inclusion has jumbled the centre somewhat. the Mix is there but the positioning is not. Masten should be playing up back, leaving an entrance for M.Allen.

Oscar needs to find some form. Waterman a good replacement for him.

Yeah waterman for ollen structually has to happen

Redden for Masten. I acknowledge he wasn't the worst today, but I think we need to think long term in getting the team right without him. This allows gaff to go wing and redden to the centre.

Mallen also I think his time has come for a call up. I'm not sure at the expense of. Venables or brandner seem the most likely, but i think we shpuld persist with brandner, albeit with a more clearly defined role

In: Mallen, Rotham, Redden, Waterman
Out: Brander, Cole, Masten, Darling

Reward WAFL form with Mallen and Waterman in. Rotham in for Cole. Rotham can take the third tall and let Hurn play loose. Darling has been next to useless this year but unfortunately won't be dropped.

Cole out for Rotham
Brander or Allen out for Waterman
Masten for Redden
Cripps, Darling lucky

Bit of tackling practice throughout the week wouldn't go astray

Either need to change the game plan or go for draft picks

Current team and game plan not going to go far

Luckily you aren't involved with the club at all.

2 consecutive losses don't decide a season.

This is exactly right. Plus too many pansy's who can't tackle and haven't drafted a skilful mid in a decade
No need for homophobia.

Something like...

IN: M. Allen, Rotham, Waterman
OUT: Cripps, Cole, Darling

Bit concerning those knocking on the door are tallish...

In - Waterman, Redden, M Allen
Out - O Allen, Venables, 3rd scapegoat

Wouldn’t be against Nelson coming in just to add a F you element to the side.

3 10 goal losses, inability to kick 10 goals in multiple games, despite having the best kick in the comp could not get passed the wing on a single kick in today.... can't you see the warning signs?

Tell that to Gazza! Interesting issue that one actually... On one hand free speech means the right to make a twat of yourself like Gaz did. On the other homophobia is disgusting and should be 100% called out wherever possible. All I know is if that was a West Coast player or basically just a non-Victorian champ oh boy..... They would crucify them and their Jesus-loving asses.

The_Gambler didn't mean it that way and didn't need a call out, that word just rubs me the wrong way.

Anyway - don't want to derail the thread.

You mean the two losses in conditions we rarely play in, and the game we just played at a ground we've only won at once in our entire existence?

What was that Collingwood game, or the Giants game? Or don't they count? I think, after last season and that finals series in particular, you can have a little bit of faith we can turn things around.

As I said, two games don't make a season.
