Looking forward to seeing the big O in action. Might allow DC to spend some time forward. We have really been lacking for contested mark options around the ground, so getting Moore and Howe back helps immensely for their intercept work.

Disappointed for Allan. There is the base to build on but at the moment many parts of his game are wrong. For the teams sake, and maybe Allan’s form, he has been dropped. Other options included a larger block of games or a different position. Three talls in and two runners out is a shift in strategy. It was not a like for like decision, his form was part of the trigger. Correct decision, yes the club is more informed. Is it successful? We wait and see.

Not at all. If anything, it might even help him. Free him up even more so.

Moore and Howe back is huge for us as we will be able to use Bruzzy, IQ, Houston and Josh as weapons more effectively. Hoping to see a much more attacking mindset from the back half as a result.

Playing a second ruck in Steene ( good luck young fella) is something I think we were going to need to try at some stage of the season anyway so I’m looking forward to see how it works tonight. It sort of forces us to go smaller in the forward line at times which I feel we can use as a fruitful tactic during the season. Also gives us more flexibility with Cameron as well as reducing his workload a bit and the ability to go tall forward as a change up. May just be our best structure in the long run.

Backline has been strengthened which is a positive.
Still not confident our forward line can kick a big score so again we will need the backline to keep GWS to under 80 to win.
Need better performances from Membrey & McStay and would like some more from Long as well.

This has “one of the season upsets” written all over it

We aren't necessarily flying ourselves.
We have alot to improve on with clearance work and forward cohesion, no guarantee that clicks tonight.
Odds are rightly in our favour simply due a longer rest and GWS lacking key soldier's.

This wont be a huge upset if we lose but if we do, its going to be hard to be optimistic about our chances of even making wildcard round.

Gotta take these opportunities we've been gifted and we have the experience to do so, just believe

I’ve noticed all this excitement about our inclusions, but is there any trepidation?
Howe has been a wonderful player, but he’s hardly been reliable in regard’s to getting through a game recently.
Fingers crossed he can still produce at the level.
Not doubting his talent, concerned a little about his durability.
We really do stick fat in regards to our veterans, just hope the result is favourable.
