Nice read and insight from Dawes

See here

I know he's no super star, and he's yet to play a game for us, but he does impress me with the way he goes about it :thumbsu:

Great read. Dawes is a good bloke with a very good head, he's the exact personality you want to have around your footy team and the kind of player you'd like as an ambassador for your team to the media. Whether he can perform for our side is a different question but I'm pretty happy with what he's shown off the field.

Seemed pretty fluffy to be honest - but good exposure is good exposure.

And it's the best exposure we'll get at the minute. The real journo's certainly won't give us any.

Chris Dawes seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
One of taking things in perspective, and taking a pragmatic approach to his new club.

Very impressive.

It's amazing what you can get for $500k a year these days.

Agree with this, I thought it was a good article. Gave a bit of insight of the kind of bloke he is, seems like he would be good role model for new guys coming into the club (even though he is a new guy too!)

There's nothing more I liked to see, than Chris stringing a few solid games together and silencing the critics, especially those Collingwood fans who suddenly jumped off him.
Seconded.

And, the thing is he is only what? 22? Same as JW, maybe a year older... So, while his critics won't believe it for a minute, it's not even the end if the world if he doesn't perform immediately for us.

I'd only be guessing but I'd say he's at least 2 if not 3 years older than Watts. His almost in the prime of his career to be honest, he just needs to get on the park, and playing a conistent role across CHF
