Not a troll...just a light hearted question:)

Couldn't help but notice how many blokes in the Geelong side are losing their hair. You've got the three chrome domes, Harley, Chapman and Johnston........but you then add in the two Ablett boys and it won't be long before it will be almost impossible identifying your players at a glance. Perhaps you can use it to your advantage by confusing the opposition.

Is there something in the water down there?

PS: I believe Eagleton is keen to be traded

Agree. They're not only chrome domes, but a couple of them also look the same. It confuses me completely if I can't see the jumper number.

You are referring to Chapman and David Johnson. One of them should win the Brownlow this year!

The dumb umps can't tell them apart. When DJ spoilt the ball from umps pet Johnson just before qtr time you could hear on the replay the ump telling Scarlett that "Chappy didn't have eyes for the ball" [bulltish].This was despite the ump looking down at DJ on the ground,so he must've seen part of his jumper number.

I believe the cause of their hair loss is very simple to explain. They play for the Geelong Football Club. I'm starting to lose mine and I only support them. But there is something in the water down there...it explains all our father/sons over the years;)

Telstra Dome couldn't even tell the Abletts apart. Their stats were confused all day on the big screen.

Yeah, I noticed the Ablett thing. I was listen to the radio afterward and they said Nathan had 13 disposals, I remember thinking that the Dome said he had a bit more than that.

Which begs yet another question - why did that idiot coach of ours start Nathan Ablett on the bench but let Blake and Gardiner start on the ground?

The man's incompetence knows no bounds.

Against Melbourne Gardiner kicked 3 or 4 goals + he well and truely outperformed N.Ablett for the entire pre-season. This answer your question?

The question was why N.Ablett wasn't on the ground. In the Melbourne game you're referring to N.Ablett and Gardiner both kicked 2.

As it turned out, one performed very well in his 12th game and one did f**k all - again - in his 50th. Guess who's who. That's my question.

This is true, but it wasn't your point earlier. Despite the Melbourne game, Gardiner easily outperformed Nathan in the other 4 or 5 pre-season games. This does not mean I think he should be there, just giving you the answer to why Thompson started Gardiner on the ground.

Lets not start pulling eachothers wangs over Nathan yet either... He had 12 goals in 11 games before yesterday, what right does this give him to start on the ground along with a very average pre-season?

I would have thought that was a reasonable return for your first handful of games.....certainly a better return than the crap we have put up with from Gardiner. Whilst I don't think that Nathan is the messiah, you could see from his first game that he had the ability to be a very good footballer.

OK, I agree Nath has more raw talent than Gardiner for sure and should be picked before him. Lets be honest though, Gardiner is out the door at the end of the season anyway, Nathan will stay.
