Loved his effort in the third quarter as I'm sure we all did.

I'm keen to know what everyong thought of his disposal throughout the game.
I thought his five kicks for the game were reasonably sound, some of his handballs seemed to put other players under pressure though.

Could have just been me I'm keen to know what others though...

Sitting on the far HFF, he grabbed the ball and took Hall on with 2 bounces - looked over his shoulder and with confidence RAN, opened his vison and passed across the ground. Great for a young kid - HOWEVER - most impressive was he kept running and then gave us a kick-too option on far wing for another channel into forward 50.

Other young kids would have seen Hall coming and blazed the kick into the midfield for a turnover. With that type of confidence, skill and work ethic, he will be ok.

I'm not a fan of his yet however like a number of supporters, I'm warming to him.

Clint showed tremendous courage to contest that mark. The free kick was justified. This was the highlight of the match for him, as this was only a fair game for him. His kicking was pretty good actually - and always to our advantage. You are correct about his disposal by hand, though - definitely needs more work. He needs to take half a second longer to prepare the handpass properly, then as time goes on it will become second nature to him and he'll hit targets without thinking about it.

That mark was amazing. When you watch the replay, you see him look at the ball, look at Mattner coming at him, look at the ball, look at Mattner again, and then look at the ball and take the mark. He knew he was going to get cleaned up and went anyway. But more importantly, we has very mature about it - he knew he was going to get cleaned up and wanted to give himself every chance to take the mark, not just put himself on the line for no good reason. Bloody impressive.

He still panics a bit when with the ball, but no question about his endeavours when he doesn't have it. His kicking is getting better, but the handballs (hmmm).

I agree, but I will definitely give him a bigger margin than other players, especially since he plays so so well the percentages. I think he has time and room to improve on his decision-making and his skills.

It seemed like on a couple of occasions he failed to draw the defender before making the pass, I'm guessing he was anxious to get it off his hands and thats the reason. Love the picture.
