Loving the way he's going bout his footy right now and still only 22 i believe. Tough, hard at it and getting a fair bit of the ball himself. If i was wearing a hat, I'd tip it

Your thoughts on C. Cloke so far this season.....

Was pretty good early last year before he got injured- has been important for us. Also like some of the strong grabs he's been taking around the ground. We seem to have a bit of depth in the ruck now. Let's hope he can get through the full year with no injury concerns.

i love this guy
his change in attitude since donning the navy blue has been exceptional
hard at it, makes great decisions when the ball is in his hands and has that
c@nt in him and lets face it you need a couple of blokes with that attitude to win an afl premiership look at any team in the past and they have players with the c@nt in em
geelong, west coast, port,3 times brizzy ya gotta have em
hes tough just like the old man
and i reckon old david would be lovin his kid in the navy blue right now
i think those mistakes he made in the finals series at the pies would be long gone memories
:p

loving this guy, one of my favourite guys down at the club TBH!! he always puts his head over the ball and willing to sacrifice himself in order to see results for the club, something we have missed in a very long time. you know this guy, whether he has performed well or not will always leave the ground having put in %110!!! Obviously not the best/ most preferred option for the ruck as he is a bit short and doesn't have the best leap, but he is definitely handy around the stoppages.

Remember when he got knocked out on the wing against Essendon in the dieing moments back in Round 3 last year, happened just after he got a bad knock to the jaw too! Yet he still tried his best efforts to get back on his feet and chase the essendon bloke with the ball! Still dazed, he feel down and attempted yet again to get up and chase the bloke again. Really shows what great character this guy has!!

Loving the way he is playing and definitely one rarely good pick up from the Pagan-era. Keep up the good work Cam!! :thumbsu:

Spot on. I honestly don't think he has played a BAD game for the club. You're quite right, he is still young, and he is solid body who doesn't mind flyin the ol' flag too.

Clokey is a bloke i've been looking at all pre-season and the first 5 rounds. He looks so comfortable playing in whatever role he must, and he's just, smart! His reflexes are outstanding, he knows when to slow the play down, he uses his body to full potential, the bloke has lifted since his time with Collingwood!

Love his work ethic.
I'll never forget when he got cleaned up on the wing & got straight up to chase (albeit groggy).

His kicking in general play is very good actually.

We needed a bit of luck with guys like him, pfieffer & betts (i.e. PSD picks)

Can you blame him Eddie?? It would be like a prisoner getting parole!! :p

i think a change of clubs has done him alot of good they seem to play alot better not sure if Collingwood gave him a fair go typical Collingwood no wonder scotland Wanted out as well maby Cam can nag at Travis to move over to the Blues as well ;) make it alot easier for their dad :)

That's been a lasting image. Essendon game about a minute to go. Got absolutely blindsided and i think he actually took two steps and collapsed on the turf from memory.

yep thats correct its funny how many ppl remember him from that 1 effort:cool:, yeah I like him as well but i dont think his our number 1 ruckman.
NO1 Ruckman=Kreuzer

The best thing about putting in 110% is that you can put in 10% less effort and still be putting in the same effort....hmmm.....

I think Cloke has been sensational. He's really giving a contest and a physical presence out on the ground that we've lacked for quite some time.

I think he's not tall/talented enough to be a long term #1 ruckman - see his fairly tragic hitout totals for conclusive evidence there. But until Kreuzer and Hampson develop into those ruckmen, Cloke is an excellent stop-gap measure (probably like Hackland was SUPPOSED to be).

I think Cloke is getting the most out of himself. His work around the ground and physicality has been really solid. His play reminds me of David Hille at Essendon, another ruckman who I think does everything well except for actual rucking. If Cloke could add some sneaking forward for goals to his game, I think he'll be in the senior side for a long time to come.

Got to love his attitude and sticking up for teammates. He has to do those things to hold his spot, so all power to him for working hard and making a role for himself.

I love Cam Cloke, I was dissapointed that we lost Bryan and gained Cloke, but now I am rapted. Cam Cloke has grunt and gives his all, all the time.

He will be surpassed by Kreuzer as our Number One Ruckmen. He will stillhowever have his uses as the Number Two. Imagine how Influential his Physical Attack on the ball and man would cause on the oppositions number Two Ruckmen.

He has attributes that compliment Kreuzer. Hampson is more in the Kreuzer role.

I believe Cam Cloke could be an important Cog in our next Premiership tilt.

I hope for kreuz, cloke and hammo all in the side with 2 alternating in the ruck and one up forward... This would answer our CHF woes if we could have a ruck who is also competant in front of goals providing a big target...

He is a hard working ruckman who is one of the best around the ground ruckmen in the comp.

Love his work rate, gets out on his own as an option coming out of defence a lot due to his ability to read the play and hard work ethic.

Would love to see him ad another string to his bow by taking some marks up forward and kicking some goals.

He is a player improving a little every week, an underrated and valuable asset to the team, not the best tap ruckman but always gives a good contest there and doesn't let the other ruckman dictate terms.

Has been a good pick-up for sure, and he may just turn out to be the pick of the Cloke boys. Travis is good when he's good but he's also perfected the lost art of going completely missing every now and then.
