They cant escape this. We've been hard on Terry and rightly so. What does Brian Royal, Jade Rawlings and David King bring to the club?

DK-I can understand King, a 2 time premiership player under Pagan, so you would think he understands success if he's half intelligent. Also is a cocky bloke who should be able to build up some fragile egos which we'd no doubt have. Hopefully doesn't build them up too much- balancing act. I can cop Kingy.

BR- Obviously a smart footy man. My concern is he's served for so long under Wallace that he's either a clone or a yes man. We need new, refreshing ideas. Also was employed to lift our skill. Thats failed.

JR- WTF is he doing here? An average player at best. Might be a fantastic bloke of great character. We need a football brain, a potential coach. How do you expect our players to listen to someone they would not rate?

I'll admit I dont disect all of the posts on here but I had not come across much criticism directed at the assistants. Surely there were better prospects than Rawlings and enough has been said about Royal.

Brian Royal rested in a forward pocket his entire career at the Western Oval while Tony McGuiness showed him how it was done. Liberatore was picked before Royal in the middle.

Royal can hardly be said to done much more as an assistant either.

Rawlings apparently presented very well in his interview. Did so on the park too. But had a heart the size of a pea and made Richo look like the next Doug Wade when lining up for goal.

King was a smart choice as pointed out above.

We need someone, preferably a premiership player who played in the middle and was often tagged. Someone who can impart knowledge of the modern game onto our struggling midfield. They're learning the hard way at the moment.

Paul Williams should have been approached. What is Josh Francou doing? He spent some time of his career watching from the sidelines an opportunity through frustration to develop an analytical mind.

A premiership player that played in the middle and was often tagged? Sounds to me like Michael Voss would be the perfect candidate for that role. He could be an assistant for a year and if (hopefully, when) we get rid of Wallace, Vossy can step in and be the coach.

He was always able to get the best out of the players around him as captain, so I have no doubt that he'd get the best out of players as a coach. We need someone hard, is a proven leader and who has a touch of arrogance about them to try to rebuild some pride in the squad and the club as a whole. In my opinion, Vossy would be perfect for Richmond. Too bad it's never going to happen.

As a Bendigo person who follows their games, I don't know if that's a good idea either. Since Peter Banfield left (the same year he took them deep into the finals), they have pretty much played the same way Richmond has this year: they've been leading numerous times, only to fail in the last half (particularly the last quarter). May not be all his fault, but as this thred suggests, coaches are accountable for their players' performances.

He has surrounded himself with ********s To try and look good if he has success that hasnt happened so there for the lot must go det rid off miller as well he is a dud look who he has drafted 30,000 plus memebers and we put up with this how can i keep telling my boys to barrack for the tigers this is crap they copp it at school and it is time for change NOW!
