Cherrie Ann Mahan was a girl who disappeared in 1985 in Pennsylvania. She was declared legally dead in 1998.
Case
Cherrie was last seen getting off of her school bus at around 4:05 p.m, only 100-150 yards away from her family's residence. Although little information is available, she is believed to have been abducted. Cherrie was declared dead in absentia in 1998, her life insurance policy was donated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and her car accident settlement was placed in her brother's trust fund. Regardless, her body has never been recovered and nobody has been charged regarding her disappearance.
