We have hung onto most of our important players. A few young girls with potential have left. Erin Woodford is the most disappointing loss, you want to keep and players that have represented Vic Metro or Country. Jess Bates is a great pick up. Rene Caris will boost our ruck stocks and keep Sarah King on her toes if King wants to remain the No.1 ruck. Emily Shepherd is highly rated by Rookie me, she should be able to make some impact. Selena Karlson slots straight into the backline in my opinion. I'm worried about Rhiannon Busch, she only played one game last year and comes from NT. As for goal scoring power, you might as well put a big ? on each spot of the forward line because Matilda Zander will most likely be needed in the midfield. Not too sure about the direction of list management, a lot of unknowns with few players signed from the NAB League.

Footscray's playing quite a few of their AFLW prospects and bigger bodied players against our VFLW side today. Treating it like a warmup game unfortunately and just overpowering our younger, smaller bodied players.

Pretty poor form Scrays....VFLW is for developing younger prospects NOT for beating up on young kids.

we havent played any of our aflw girls this vflw season so far that ive seen. It happened a couple times early last season though.

You might play them coming back from injury perhaps but the Bulldogs have played 8-9 fully fit AFLW players (as well as some top draft picks from last years draft) its a big ask for our VFLW girls to play against a half full AFLW team! Hence the scoreline (13 shots to 4 at half time). Our girls are doing well but they're just outsized and outclassed by some of these more senior players.

We also have had a big list turnover last 12 months too. All very new and young girls. Some we have recruited from elsewhere. Like Dom who was the captain of the dogs vflw side

Its been some turn around the last 18 months. After being beaten by port melb in the last GF two years then. Then there was a clean out after everyone left months later. Had to start from scratch again. They've done well to get here
