Craig Biddiscombe?

As a Geelong fan i have watched his football very closely over the past few years. As he used to play at Geelong. But i think he has been pitful for u guys. I understand he got a new contract last year even though he played only 3 games. Can anyone find a reason behind that as he wasn't injured throughout the year and has only had the one real good year in 2000.

Your thoughts on him and why he got a new contract?

I doubt that he got a new contract last year... maybe it was the year before that! Whatever it was, apparently it is a fairly hefty amount and one of the reasons why we can only afford 36 on our list.

About 4 years back he did OK (hence getting the new contract) but then lost a year through injury - knee reconstruction I think? Since then he has only been around the fringes, getting a game when all others are injured.

I guess he is lucky at the moment that the likes of Pettifer and Hilton are out of form because that is the only reason he is getting a game.

I believe that this is the last year of his contract and would expect a delisting at year's end!

He's only on base + a little bit more & really he's only making up the numbers only because of injury
