Was really impressed with how he played today, especially considering he was one of the VFL listed players (correct me if i'm wrong). I haven't seen the VFL much this year so I'm just wondering how his form has been for the rest of the season. Also wondering whether he would be worth picking up with a late round draft pick, a la Matt Egan? Thoughts?

Yeah it's quite frustrating to develop a player to the point of playing senior footy, only to lose him to one of the other clubs.

That said, the SANFL produces plenty of talent that other clubs get.

Will he be gone by pick 57? I really hope we pick him up. He's a mature age player - will turn 22 next year and he's got pace and skill!

Had never really taken notice of him during the season but I saw he won the Fothergill-Round medal so I kept an eye on him today. Surely a cert to be drafted.

I only watched the first half but seemed to get a bit of it - missed two shots at goal, which was obviously disappointing, but was really dark on himself afterwards. That's encouraging, if only because it shows a real passion for the game, something a few senior players seem to be lacking.

Not guranteed to be picked up, he failed to get any votes in the Liston and the VFL is not seen as great feeder comp. Only one player (Michael Rix) has been selected in the last two years in the main draft. Also as the TAC cup this year is expected to be a bumper crop, it would be surprising if he went before round 50. We certainly wouldn't use our first or second pick on him and our third pick is already going on some bozo. I'd be very confident he will be avaialble for pick 57, but we may even wait till the rookie draft.
