what is the go with this guy - hardly any game time on Sunday. Is he a possible trade?

We'd love to have him but probably don't have anything to give you other than draft picks.

One remark on radio on Sunday during the game was that he had bruised his hip - but nothing more has emerged about it. He is staying at KP !!!

He did have a quiet one, but if this information is correct, then he'll need a few days to recover. Would explain his limited impact, and if that's the case, then we should probably appreciate what input he gave.

I think he's now a much bigger focus of opposition teams than he was earlier in the year, which is why he's not having as much impact. It may also explain why he's a bit sore, as I think they're targeting him with some hits to try and unsettle him.
Good thing is, if they tag Wojak and try to nullify his run, Scarlo, Enright and Mackie are ready to step up and take his place. No probs.

Definetly not up for trade. Great player, gives us plenty of run and carry. Didn't see sundays game, but has been very good for most of the year.

True - but I guess the aura and reputation of Aker is what enticed them.

He really struggled to get going, the game just didn't suit him to be honest. Also he was fairly pissed off about something, radio and TV stated that he came off once and was fairly angry.

He had only one kick up to that time.

I'd suggest he was just being held and the backline used other options, especially Mackie all the time to great effect.

nah, he started on the bench and hardly spotted him.

according to the hun he was only on the ground for 58% of the time.

Wodja the Dodja had an off day. Everyone has them. I'd rate him as one of the 5 players (others being Moondogs, Scarls, Chappy, Ots) that are most crucial to our structure.

Gaz and Jimmeh are superstars but we've got enough gun mids to cover them if one went down.

At least he's well known now - I can still recall BT calling him "Wozitski" in that cliffhanger Carlton game at the dome in 2002.

He did produce one piece of magic on the weekend and it seemed like the sort of game that would suit him - we really needed someone to break the lines - but I'm guessing he is probably training pretty hard right now. With the other reasons above that would be reason enough to manage him carefully.

Shouldn't quote your own post - have since heard that the comment was about the hip was in relation to Wodja but it was intended to be re Nathan - email back from radio station. The actual commentator has since said that he was puzzled by the little time he seemed to be on the ground - so was I.

I heard Eade say they had a massive go for bomber at the end of last year but he decided to sign a new contract with us.
