Wallis walks out on the Saints...well, well, well...
There is one very painful memory in respect of this man.
After the Collingfilth game, in which Tarrant got about 17 or 18 marks and ran our defenders ragged,
Wallis was quoted as saying something like:
"We sat down with Troy Schwarze in the days before the game, watched hours and hours of videos of Tarrant, we worked out tactics and defensive plays, how to negate him..."
Yeah, good one Wallis...
I know Schwarze is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and Wallis is more at fault for even thinking of putting No 40 in such a demanding role. It's like handing a gun to a 50 Kg schoolboy and packing him off to a warzone.
So Wallis, thanks for yor 2 years at the Saints, I'm sure you did some smart things, you probably tried hard, but the Tarrant thing will live long in my memory. Moron.
