Deeefence

It's embarrassing the pronunciation of the word defence in last few years. Are the sheep that enamoured in American sports that they feel it necessary to change the way the word has been pronounced here for a 100 years.

Will the ADF be soon referred to as the Australian Deeefence Force or does this peculiarity only apply to defence in a sporting context?

Doesn't bother me at all personally.

The Americanisation that I hate is people calling the home and away season the "regular season".
