[Smell The Glove]

Anyone else here into this superb set up of Hansi Kursh (Blind Guardian) and Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth)? Only just recently got my hands on their second album (Touched by the Crimson King) and its absolutely smacks of the talent that made their respective bands so highly respected in the 90's. Beneath the Waves is one of the few songs that captured me on the first take- bloody brilliant song. I thought their first album was awesome, and this is a sensational follow up.

Yep, have them both. While the sound of both Iced Earth and Blind Guardian come through on the recordings, it's still a very unique sound on its own as well. Don't know if you might call it either hymn or medieval style of singing, but it's very different and even under the slower tempo of the songs (compared to BG), Hansi's voice is still a pure singing voice, showing how good he is.
