Djing for begginers?

Na its just I was looking for some easy songs to start out with.

Is 2 NDX400s and an M4/M3 mixer any good?

Basically all songs follow the 4 x 4 structure, so if you stick to songs within the same genre and BPM you should be able to mix them.

Just pick songs from your collection and have a go. Recommend you just get a pioneer mixer, or an allen and heath one.

If you're seriously asking that question, maybe just save your money.
I mean some easy songs to learn with obviously, someone already answered it normally anyway so dont bother...

Yeah I probably will get a pioneer, I will check out the allen and heath ones, but are the NDX400s good enough? or do you think I should get something better?

Its up to you but if you're serious i would get the better one from the start, saves you upgrading later anyway.
Yeah I know but its just alot of money to be spent on something Ive never really had a proper shot at, Im 15 btw so dont really have much money, but I can save I guess!

You want a Rane or Allen & Heath Xone.

You need some CDJ2000s, or maybe some of those Technics DZ-1200s, I think they're cheap now. Korg KP3s.

Some powered speaks so you can hear it properly.

If you've got this idea and you haven't already worked out a huge setlist, or a killer transition, or even a genre of music that you like, I'm not sure you want to spend your pocket money on this.

Ive worked out what I would like to get but as I said im only 15 and dont have that much cash so im just wondering whats good that I can get fairly cheap, im alright with speakers, cdj2000s I would love but I just cant afford that :|

Take up guitar. You'll pull more chicks than just being an average DJ.

Seriously though mate, most good DJs are also capable musicians with a solid background in theory and with an ear for dynamics and transitions. Are you a musical person with specific thoughts as to what you want to play, or do you just like the idea of being a DJ?

I just like djing in general :p, na but I just want to start it, ive done it on virtual dj and on a midi controller before just id like to buy my own decks and practice at home.

Would amazon be a good place to buy stuff?

I dont know much about mixers, is the x9 or x6 any good? I heard Behringers are shit build quality!

Yea, every 15 year old kid wants to be a "DJ" these days.

They usually suck badly and get sick of it pretty quickly so don't spend too much just yet, just get something cheap that works until you know for sure that it's what you want to do.

Also if youre serious about it learn an instrument like Patsmith said. Will help.

Haha yeah I know, yeah I probably should get something cheap but everyone says that holds you back and you will just want to upgrade and shit!

Seriously don't buy anything. Go and research and listen to as much electronic music as you can get your hands on, develop a love for it and understand the key principles and dynamics behind it. Listen to sets, listen to tracks, watch documentaries etc. If you aren't passionate about it you will be wasting your money.

Everyone interested in electronic music should really watch that video.

Also is amazon a good place to buy things? it seems pretty cheap and with american money pretty much the same as AUD the prices are the same for americans as they are for us!
