I've been using Aimster when I can't find what I want on Napster, although on Aimster I find that more and mroe people are adjusting their settings so they will not accept uploads. Sometimes it also says "the user does not have the file you requested" which is a pain in the arse.

It is hard to grasp at the start, but it allows resuming and so far *touches wood* I have been able to find everything I have wanted, from mp3 to DivX movies.

Okay, last week I downloaded several of those napster replacements- kazaaa, aimster, morpheus, imesh.
I've obviously accepted something I didn't want, because now when I'm surfing the internet, certain words are underlined in yellow, with a link to something (I haven't gone to it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's advertising)- words like win, web page hosting, job search, flowers (and different types of flowers), a load of bands and singers.

This is annoying, does anyone know how to remove this?

(and for the record, none of them are as good as napster used to be, but so far, I've found bearshare to be the best for me.)

Yeah that comes with Kazaa , I was stuck with it too it's called "Hot Links" or something like that. Go to Add/Remove programs from ya Control Panel, thats where i deleted it from.

lol sounds like a "paid to surf" program i downloaded called surfplus

Piece of crap i got rid of it straight away lol
