Drop Tendai

As said, its not like anyone is even knocking at the door to get into the team, let alone busting it down. Tendai is a player we need to get AFL level experience into quickly so he can develop. Our entire team has skill issues at the moment anyway, so he fits right in. He should definitely play out the rest of the season. Whilst some of his disposals are shockers others are quite good - some of the lace out passes to forwards for example.

**** this guy's a shocker.

Half the team should be dropped for various other reasons if we're going to single out individual instances.

Word ....plus half is probably kind.

Surely mzungu has been one of your positives this season. I remember seeing claims that he was one of your missing best 22 at the start of the season and thinking that such a call was premature for a guy yet to play an afl game but he has proven that claim to be legitimate

Positives have to be able to dispose of the ball well to be considered...

You wouldn't be whiteanting one of your players now would you.......

Certainly not. Have a look at the majority of his passes inside F50, he tends to drop the ball and wait too long and grubber most of the kicks. I don't see him as a negative, but nor do I see him as a positive as he is as good as Schammer, our depth has not improved.

As good as Schammer ey? Usually I'd say that's not worth a hell of a lot, as the aforementioned is a proven spud, but in this case, that's almost a compliment...

Not bad for a first year player with 11 games under his belt. Do you think maybe we need to step back and re-evaluate our sense of perspective here? He's in our best 22 in any case, and he'll develop and improve as time goes on.

Lol thread

Yes he makes mistakes, but what first year player doesn't? And he's come off a ***ing knee injury - doubt there are many first year players who debut after coming off a knee injury and claim a best 22 spot in less than 10 games

He is one for the future and his decision making, general skills and effort are improving week by week

This is a ridiculous thread. In the past month where we have lost all of our games he has been one of only a couple of players who have tried their best in each game and made an impact. He has been a great pickup for us this year and is easilly best 22 every game.

Shows just how little people on here actually know about footy.

If we dropped every player for being soft in that last game, we would only be fielding about 8 players and would have to appoint a new captain.

Keyser, when you were at the head of the eagles line while they were dishing out brains, why were you so damned greedy?

I'm all for it. We need to start sending out some messages to this playing group about unacceptable efforts.

F**k it, I'd go as far as dropping Hill for the rest of the season too, regardless of how well he plays in the WAFL. Might see him come back next year with a bit more intensity once he realises he can't take his spot in the side for granted.

The impact he's having lately it's not like we'd miss him anyway. And he's too important to our future success to allow him to keep cruising along in 2nd gear. Before we know it he'll be 27 and we'll have MJ mk2 on our hands.

Or Des.

Spare the rod and spoil the child?

Who deserves to get a game ahead of him ? Who is likely to be in our best 22 next year ?

This year he's managed to hold his spot. Once he has time to review this year and start again he'll be more of a revelation next year.

Give him as much game time as we can.
