I wonder how sour the taste is in the mouths of all of the experts in the press and on the TV having to talk positively about the Tigers?

Pick your mark (Lyon, Lloyd, Dunstall, Roos, Yobbo, Healy, etc) but all, possibly with the exception of K Cornes, appear now to be on the Tiger bandwagon and you have to think it is galling for them.

I am sure they all have a deep longing for us to lose something we shouldn't, including this week with the Geelong outs, so they can jump off and cleanse their souls.

Lets hope we can continue our roll to and through the finals as it makes for not just a great game day but a very enjoyable week reading, watching and listening to the haters having to chew on and digest each tiger win.

Those entrenched in the media absolutely love talking up the Tigers because it means more viewers, more listeners, more papers/subscriptions sold. How many on here have suddenly found themselves watching and listening to more footy programs because good things are being said about us. I know I have.

Additionally you can't help but like the way the Tigers are playing - fast and attacking. I genuinely think they like watching us play. 2017 has been a great story after 2016.

As for K Cornes he is not long out of the game and it takes some a while to erase that deep hatred they have for teams. He is over the top and is a try hard.

Seasons not over yet, still a lot of movement in the 8 to go. I always felt that dunstall called it like it is, have never had a problem with him really. The rest I agree with, Lyon was certainly salivating over us bombing out in a blaze of glory.

I like Dunstall. Like you said, he calls it like it is. He's not quite ready to call us a contender yet but I don't blame him, heck I'm not ready to call us a contender yet, as I am sure are many Richmond supporters.

Dunstal and Carey seem to call it like it is. Bereton just likes to talk about good blokes and only really looks at development. He is always good to watch when your side is rebuilding.

It's just how it is and we have earnt the shit we cop.No team is exempt though and they all cop it when it's time and are embraced when going well we just have a few too many precious supporters along with those that are just deadest ****ing broken and have an unhealthy need to be "right".

It's not really about being proven wrong.
Even those who are of a more positive bent were probably only hopeful of a rise to top four contention.
Personally, I thought that we would finish anywhere from 5th to 14th depending on the injury/form variables.
I reckon everyone should just enjoy the ride, acknowledge that we are far from perfect but also acknowledge that we are giving it our all this season.

Agree but I'd lump Dwayne in with Cornes.
When we're playing great footy Dwayne's upbeat commentary is just so contrived. Maybe it's a Port thing?
DOn't really mind any others. Actually think Lloyd is ok and puts a bit of thought into it, just should be banned from talking about Ess.
