What sort of music do you like then mate? As people in this thread suggest contribute instead of whining. talking about music never harmed nobody. i would not whinge if you posted several threads about say led zeppelin. time to show some respect and tolerance.

Not sure who you're pointing this at but since you're asking for respect and tolerance I should point this out to you:

You won't shut up about Harrison and Petty. You don't seem to be able to go 2 posts in a row without mentioning one of them. You obsession is almost embarassing - as in I'm almost embarassed on your behalf.

There's always something wrong with people who think current music is good and old music or old school is bad. Either suggests they are young and naive or don't get music.

Good music has no expiry date.

An appreciator of music knows this whilst at the same time knows you can't listen to the same stuff over and over again. But just because you've heard something 1 million times, doesn't mean it's crap. Just means you no longer listen to it.

Teenyboppers can't see patterns because the pattern hasn't formed for them. A normal adult should be able to see the pattern so it makes me wonder why some people treat music as a trend or think old music, no matter what it is, is crap.

I translate these as meaning either "I'm intimidated by black culture" or "I have a small wang and am a prejudiced, ignorant f***wit" or both.

Just post about what you want to, and you'll be surprised how many people share similar tastes, music is one of those things without boundaries, and genre's merely facilitate ignorance.
