I'm Terrible in tipping comps so I would essentially be donating $24.

lol I don't mean literally paying $1 every round. I'm saying $24 would be an affordable amount for everybody....It's the equivalent of dollar a round.

I don't mean the amount, but rather the organising of it.

Looking at the BF/SC cash comp for example, despite the popularity of that, it just seems like too much effort for people to worry about $$ as well.

So how would the cash thing work (see my post above)?

Of course it doesn't. I'm just giving my preference. If people don't want to play for a prize pot than don't involve prize money.

Personally, I won't bother if it's just for fun. I will forget to put my tips in one round and then won't bother for the rest of the season. I usually last about 3 rounds on the BF one. When I'm playing for a cash prize I tend to make sure my tips are always in.
