whether he was in or not, we will smash them. We are their bogey side. And we are have been played back into form by a side that has taken over from us as the side that plays you back into form. 10 goals minimum, it will be over by half time ;)

Lucas is our worry. Not McVeigh. We have them covered in the midfield. Still have nightmares of Lucas tearing us a new one in the last quarter in the 'unlosable' game.

McVeigh is a massive out. The only midfielder they have now that I rate is Stanton. If our midfield of Deledio (if he plays ;)), Foley, Cotchin, Tuck doesn't dominate their midfield of Watson, Stanton, Lonergan, Riemers, we are a long way off

9 goals between them from a couple of 30-year-olds. Way to look to the future ********:o
Don't watch much footy do you clown? Riewoldt five goals last week (19 years of age), Hughes six goals three weeks ago (20 years of age), Morton 10 goals in three games (21 years of age).
try again knobface, but really, you're not worth the bother.
PS: read the rules of BigFooty first n00b, before bullshitting your way onto other team's boards. have a nice day.:thumbsu:

At least they are performing. And don't forget both boys kicked their goals on intertstate trips, which means they are far from daunted and don't retreat to their comfort zone. And life without Richo is suddenly a lot brighter.
Who's going to step up for you guys when Lloyd gives it up. Courtney Johns.

That would be Neagle, Gumbleton when he returns. Plus an abundance of small forwards would ensure our future forward line. As for Johns, he has hardly played to warrant you mentioning him. But forget about him, he is good as gone and i do not rate him.

Have no beef with you JC. You at least knew the rules before coming on here. Happy to debate anything.
Jacko suggested that Hughes and Riewoldt's bags of goals were against lesser teams but at least they have done something at AFL level.
Jury is out over Gumbleton. Hope for your sake he gets his body right and at least gives himself the chance. certainly talented.
I rate Neagle highly. But he hasn't kicked a five or six bag like our boys.
And I was taking the piss over Johns. Even my Essendon mates bag him.

Your the man tugga, i know the rules mate but i respect other teams anyway. Jury is still out on Gumbleton, but i think once his out there and strings a few games he will be something that kid. I've seen all of his few games and he moves beautifully. A real talent. As for Neagle, i know he hasn't kicked bags, but you got to remember his had a couple of years ruined by injuries and has a very limited fitness base. I think we will see more next year.
As for Hughes, Riewoldt and Morton, real beauties those guys. Specially Morton, really knows how to play this kid. The game against Port not long ago really impressed me.

Everyone has to start somewhere you douche. As a few people have said:
- Morton (21 y.o, 22 games) has kicked bags of 2, 5, 3 and 3 in the last 4 weeks

- Riewoldt (19 y.o, 19 games) kicked 5 goals last week, and has kicked 16 goals in 3 VFL matches this year showing he is way too good for that level

- Hughes (21 y.o, 15 games) kicked 6 goals 3 weeks ago, and over the last 3 weeks has kicked 6, 3, and 1 goals. Was also averaging almost 3 goals a game at VFL level before being called up.

+ Richo and Nathan Brown PLUS our midfield/fowards in Cotchin, Edwards and Deledio who all average a goal a game or better

Plenty of options
