It's simply meant to say the following: We've been ordinary for 10 years. Now we're about to be very good.
Difference between Essendon and Richmond are that we don't accept being ordinary. They do / have.
Fact is, Essendon has been sleeping, is a giant, and IMO, is about to awake.

If we're talking about the general sense of where we're at, I like the sentiment. I think it's about standards without undue expectation. FWIW, I keep falling back on having that '00 feeling during the WC demolition job... there's nothing that particularly made it more extraordinary than any other game, just this palpable atmosphere that these players can actually do something at some stage. I think reports of our deficiencies have been greatly exaggerated, at any rate.
