Would love to here your thought's on how its effecting our on-field performance.
If we were winning no one would give a stuff about a name change.

When you're not however it does give an impression of not focusing on your core product.

Personally it reeks of Carlton supporter behavior.

We should be a bit more logical.
In the long run the name change is just marketing. There's a buck to be made with indigenous involvement in footy.

Might want to just worry about playing up to AFL standard, just sayin
sorry
not sorry.
Could be wrong here, but we were playing sh*tly before this round anyway, so there’s no correlation between the two.

Yes, we'll it's the same charge that was leveled at Matt Finnis for years - stop faffing about with inclusive language and Social justice warrior initiatives and concentrate on making us a good footy team.

Except he was CEO and had very little to do with the standard of our footy.

Of course he could have actually gone out and got a decent footy boss to do that instead of hiring the head of the national cricket association.

Ahhhh memories. Well anyway, that Bagcroft post is just standard sentiment for orgs who go to town on the bells and whistles without ever nailing down the basics.

Two separate issues, but I get the frustration. I'd say the folks who think similar would probably still have that attitude even if we were in the top 4.

The type of person who is annoyed/aggravated/insulted by the name change would be that way whether we were winning or not.

Losing just gives them a way to bring it up in a way that sounds less racist than if we were winning.

We're unskilled.
You can call us whatever title you want, and can change the name up as many times as you like to fit into whatever purpose you desire.
It matters not.
We still look and play s*it.

Haven't the traditional owners suffered enough? Why make them carry the Stains as an added burden. Let them mourn the loss of culture and tradition in peace.

Outrage culture is addictive. Getting enraged by petty matters makes us feel something in the pea soup blanket of discontentment, distractions and myriad malaises. It gives you the feeling of control over a future world that we don't seem to have much hope for.

It's just people seeking validation on thier particular viewpoint.

None of which matters. The world will continue it's ceaseless revolutions towards an uncaring burning sun. Whereby everything we have stood for and believed in, along with all of our pointless striving for credibility in a confused philosophical struggle for existence, love and survival will both account for, and amount to....Nothing.
