Can anyone confirm if Ezra Bray has quit Carlton & gone back to Darwin ?

The last I heard of him was in the pre-season game against Richmond . . .

He played in the VFL three weeks ago against Geelong,but in an interview on the weekend,Liam Pickering [his manager] mentioned something about him quitting & going back to Darwin.

I haven't heard that story. I think Ezra may have a bit of a problem with his commitment.

Yes...After the Geelong game, he hasnt been seen at the club.

Well he didnt play in the VFL on sunday at Ballarat, and a new Top-up player Berry had his jumper on, no.46. Havent heard anything offical, a bit of a pity as when he applied himself he seemed to have some potential.

Mystery solved...all over the back page of todays Sunday Territorian (what a quality publication - undoubtedly News Ltds jewel...not) he has returned to Alice Springs and is looking at playing with Pioneers. According to the rag he couldn't handle living in Melbourne (understandable after living in Alice...) and suffered a loss of confidence after injuries.

Hope that answers a few questions...

the player Berry who was wearing no. 46 spent last year on St Kilda's rookie list he was sacked for off field reasons

Really? Berry kicked 5 on the weekend, and looked very impressive. Ross Lyon was very happy with him.

Thats not the true story about Ezra either...the truth will come out one day.

Do you mean the player who played a number of seasons, including in a premiership side, who stuck around all last season after doing his knee, and has stuck around at least half a year without a contract after requiring further surgery, and MAY have finally decided to call it quits (although not confirmed by the Club), do you mean that lack of commitment?

Been doing some 'research' on the St.Kilda forums on Justin Berry.

From the replies recieved on the above thread he seems to have the skills, but hasnt showed the discipline so far to knuckle down.

I read that too Bergs, sounds like he might be a bit of a headcase !! A major discipline problem if you go by what the Saints fans were saying, and I reckon they have seen a few gems in the past to judge him by too.
