I commented at the Bombers game last week that we really looked exhausted and might need to get some fresh legs in this week. Can't say exactly who should have come in but we certainly looked jaded from the start last night. Pity the bye wasn't this weekend.

Terrible disposal makes you look fatigued.

Essendon tried that excuse last week. I wasn't buying it then, and won't be buying it now.

all of a sudden because there is a bye.. teams now get 'tired' before it.

Dont recall it happening in the past 10 years, do you?

THIS...

in previous years when you hear "were a young team and we are tiring a little bit,... blah blah blah", it always comes in at round 15-22...

there isnt going to be a bye next year, it shouldnt be an excuse.

Fatigue of the brain perhaps but this is more to do with young minds and inexperience at dealing with different challenges.

I don't accept fatigued bodies... a few weeks ago we were spruiking how fit we are!

FFS...we are now going to extremes to find the next excuse...its round 10 FFS!!! All these dudes do is train, eat, shit so they dont get fatigued...What a load of absolute BS..;)

the club totally f - - - - d up flying up on the friday showed port no respect at all . should have gone up on tuesday and trained in the condistion twice ,

So it's impossible that they were fatigued after that epic game against Essendon? We lose to the bottom team. We play poorly, fumble, don't tackle enough etc but there is no way fatigue had anything to do with it? No doubt over the years plenty of teams have lost the week after a particularly hard game the previous week. I didn't realise it contravened the rules of BF to suggest that may have happenend to us. Interesting.

Exacary.

Last 5 minutes of the game when it finally dawned on the players they were going to lose they finally found some energy and intensity and kicked a couple of late goals, so no sign of fatigue then. I think up to then they just thought things would happen to get them across the line for a win.
