favourite "Far Side" strip

Bummer of a birthmark is my absolute favourite but two others that spring to mind are the one with the huge mozzie about to explode with its mate saying "pull out pull out you've hit an artery" and the one with the dog also ready to explode with the garden hose in it's mouth and the caption saying something like prepapring for a big night out on the town.

"Midvale School For The Gifted" is my favourite and I usually say it if I see someone pushing a Pull door.

There are a couple on cards I've got that I like. One is a kangaroo on a busy city street in a trenchcoat and a guy is lying comatose on the footpath, there's a boomerang on the ground which has obviously knocked him out and the kangaroo's thought bubble is "I think that was for me". Bizzare yet amusing.

Another is on an operating table where this bit of guts has sproinged up into the air and the surgeon goes "Woah! Watch where that thing lands, we'll need it later"

Far Side is one of my favourite cartoons along with Calvin & Hobbes and Garfield!

Midvale is my favorite.

Pretty closely followed by one I saw on a Christma Card where a gangster looking type (with a busted up face & broken arm) is sitting in a witness box in court (note: Santa Claus is in the background sitting in the dock with a sullen face). The gangster's quote is along the lines of......"i then I sayz to lefty.....here come Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus lane!!"

the 'school for the gifted' one is definitely a classic.
this one's not bad either...

i thought he only did the seymour line and i havent seen him for a while (prolly cos i dont catch trains that often nemore!) and one day i was going to geelong not long ago, and there he was! lol! :p

One purely visual. Dog commuters. A bunch of dogs in shirts/ties etc on a bus going to work... all with their heads out of the bus windows.

The other is the classic futility of life. An elephant in a pub, slamming down his beer on the bar top all the while exclaiming his frustration,
"It's no use, I drink and I DRINK... and I still can't forget.
