You reckon Halloween 2 is crappy?

Each to their own, but I really like this one. Not as good as the first obviously, but compared to a lot of horror movies, I would not call this crap.

Have you seen Exorcist 2 or Friday The 13th Part 9? Now those are crappy movies. (Although I still continually watch F13 #9, as I watch my entire horror DVD collection at least once a year).

And Exorcist 2... well... I only have to mention that the opening scene contains a pendulum device that can synchronize 2 minds and you'll feel like killing yourself.

I missed Exorcist 2 & can't remember anything too exciting about Friday the 13th part 9 ...

That makes more sense now. Yeh that jingle is about the only decent thing about that movie. The whole concept is just... bizaar. A special stone that when a song is played turns the heads of children wearing the masks into bugs... Someone wrote that script after one too many joints, I'm sure of it.

Don't see Exorcist 2. And Friday the 13th Part 9 is Jason Goes To Hell. Where Jason gets killed by a SWAT team, taken to the morgue and the doctor decides to eat Jasons heart, then he turns into Jason, but Jason can only stay in the doctors body for so long, so Jason has to play tonsil hockey with different people every so often to stay alive. The only way he can be reborn is by entering the body of another Voorhees. Which surprisingly enough... JASON HAD A SISTER! (Despite Mrs. Voorhees saying he was an only child in F13 #1). So sure enough Jason goes after her (and his neice, and her daughter).

And well... yeh I have to stop there.

The only good thing about that movie is the ending, where you see Freddy's glove drag down Jasons mask to hell.

I have to love Chucky and Jason and sadly enough Nightmare on elm street is not the only horror slasher that is being remade they are doing Chucky too apparently acoording to the website IMDB, but slightly off topic here is 2 more remakes of tv shows that would be interesting to see ?

I saw last year's remake of Friday the 13th on Austar today. I thought it was actually quite good as far as remakes go.

Yeah, the killer in slasher movies is usually a moral arbiter. Horny teens having premarital sex? Dead. Teens getting pissed and/or stoned? Dead. The lone teen survivor usually doesn't indulge in any of those things and ends up besting the slasher, at least temporarily. Interesting vid
