So, who has it?

Before I get into the game, can I just recommend, if you want the game, to trade in at JB HiFi... they are doing a deal at the moment to trade in three games (they have an exceptions list) to get FIFA 2010. The exception list isn't actially that deep, I got rid of Fifa '09, Dead Rising and Bomberman Act Zero and am now settling into this game on its day of release.

Oklies, I've had a bit of a muckaround... so far, I can see the improvement on '09 but it isn't an extraordinary jump. Seems a little quicker (especially with loading times) and a little harder with much better opposition AI. I'm still bugged by ultra repetitive commentary (they got into a 30 second exchange about Fabregas, it ended, Fab got the ball again immediately, the exchange begun again). The graphics are crisper but not hugely.

Playing Manager mode which seems a little more in depth. Player transfers are a bit of fun as they monitor the players interest in your club, which makes it interesting trying to sign a big name for as little value as possible, a process that can take the whole initial eight weeks of transfer season. As well as this, rival clubs WILL NOT TRADE (take that, Hawthorn). Chelsea luaghed off every attempt I made at one of their players who was up for sale. These little touches are fun.

One other thing I like about Manager mode is that you don't jump straight into the season... you actually play 6 practice matches against random world teams so I find it refreshing before the drudgery of a full premier league season (trust me, three seasons in, its kinda depressing).

I am also impressed that they have noted some specific changes in the opening of Manager mode... such as better simulated team AI, so you won't ever see Manchester United relegate after season one. The good teams are good, the shit ones remain brown.

It's good.

Let me play some multiplayer before I tell you its great.

As a potential purchaser here Filth, can you tell me if Melbourne Victory are on there? If so, I'll have it within the week! (Round Ball fans the world over would laugh their heads off at that fact!)

Can I ask a stupid question?

My mate said they release new games on PS2 and he said FIFA 09 is available on PS2...true or false?

Pretty sure I saw it today.

Regardless, the magic 8 ball that is Google suggested all signs point to yes.

The entire A-League is a playable league, so yes.

Enjoy...

I got it on PS2. I bought it ages ago though :thumbsu: It has Victory, its good though.

Will have this game in about two hours when I trade in NBA 2k9, NBA Live 09 and FIFA 09 in about two hours.

FIFA 10 and beers beckons for a pretty good night. :thumbsu:

Excellent. My first game will be Melbourne Victory v Luton Town, then Arsenal! You're going down Filth ;)

While I haven't checked, I highly doubt Luton Town are included after their dumping from League Two last year (terrible off-field club).

Excited much? The next two hours will be a nervous wait to the end of the next two hours.

It's addictive though... played til 3am last night, got up at 12pm, washed my face, made a coffee and loaded up the 360 again.

And tonight my brothers and I will play our standard Friday night league on PS3, so should be able to compare the games multi-format pretty well.

Yep, those two hours came when I managed to get it in two hours. Seriously, wtf was I thinking? :o

Anyway, just about to give it my first run, and I'm sure this will be played all night and I'll probably accidentally forget about our B&F until 4am (I'll blame that on the beers, though).

FIFA10 available on PS2?*

If so, where can I get it?

* Probably anaother dumb question.

FIFA 10 is on PS2, and you can get it at JB HI-FI, EB games, pretty much anywhere that sells games.

Just smashed out a few games, and it's ****ing awesome. So many little things have been improved that I'll expand on later, but I'm loving it.

So went over to a mates place who recently bought the game. I don't really like it, but it does take me a while to get use to shit. I play 08 regularly at his joint and I can honestly say that the graphics shit me on this and it looks like a PS1 type game with it.

It's a bit meh.

The controlling of the player is much harder, some of them are Josh Smith like with their turning.
