Guys like that thrive on new challenges. Thankfully they can be found right here at Hawthorn. Another year gone, the older players even further past their apparent use by date, and now following their 4th straight GF appearance.

Helping to ensure he can get these critical players through yet another season of being the hunted to try and deliver a spectacular 4th straight flag. There's no greater challenge on offer in the AFL. This is a body of work that he has yet to complete and will likely never present itself to him again.

Rioli's best season easily , almost played a whole season and a couple of stellar finals performances. Conditioning staff have got things on track with Rioli in a big way! Well done!

Top thread. I think Clarko would quite happily defer his legacy (that others foist upon him) to our support staff.
But on the fitness staff specifically: thank you. I really believe our club are number one in this regard, and our ageing list would be also rans without them.

You know I had this dream all year of a fully fit Cyril Rioli turning it on in the finals. He's been so restricted in the last few years because of his suspect hammies.
And I even let myself believe that he maybe, possibly, probably even, could have a little chance to win the Normie.

Needless to say my Saturday at the footy was a dream come true!

If Andrew Russell is responsible for that, I seriously love him.
