I bought asics for the first time last year and they were good until it started to get wet, then there was no where near enough traction.

It depends on some things, the shape of your foot and whether you do more running or kicking?

I have a broad foot, and i kick more then run, so certain nike books were best for me.

Asics are best for broad feet. Don't get Nike's man they are cheaply made and have a flimsy heal.

The right boot is the one the bends at the two, doesnt bend in the middle and has solid ankle support. The newest asics (the ones picutred in white) are perfect. And if your not going to pay $200 buck then your a stingy bugger. $200 is mid range.

Last year i had these bad boys....

i had the nomis nine pincer last year. still going strong, except for a bit of leather scraped off the toe

I've got a pair of Nomis, they're not bad, would've liked the more exy Nomis (with the roo leather upper), but couldn't really justify it at the time.

You'll need 45 touches, 6 goals and 15 tackles to wear them, anything less and you're just a pretty boy f***wit who needs a kick to the backside.

Simple, buy a pair of black Asics, my last 5 pairs have each cost me around $150, lasted the year & feel great.

You won't be if you're playing me.

half the fun of playing footy is playing on d**ks that wear white/orange/pink/red/yellow boots and just taking every chance I get to hit them.

Gonna wear boots like that, you're a f***wit unless you get 45 touches a game

I wear these, the puma kings are great. I have gone with the kings for the last few years and have no complaints about them at all. Cost $180 which is about average these days.

bought those (then exchanged for the nomis). like them, puma make a nice boot, but when putting them on at home it didn't feel right (like it did in the store). also didn't like the tongue going over half of the laces.

but overall a very good boot

I wanted to get the Viduka ones but was not worth it.
I got the asics Gel Lethal 9.

Exact colour and everything. I am a fan of sneaker type boots, they are very light and are always the perfect fit. It is comfortable and although it looks big, it has a great feel.

Goes with the team colours!

I bought them last year, think they look shithouse, but they are comfy. As soon as it gets wet though, they are useless. unless your running in straight lines the whole time you'l be slipping over everywhere.
