yeah i just tried satelliting into the stud tournament through an $8 sat.

came 8th out of 50-odd, top 2 got in. i was looking good to double up at the final table and would've been a big chance to make it. the other guy had a lower pair (7's v J's), but he hit two-pair (7's and 6's) on sixth street and i couldn't get the re-suck on the river.

not paying the $216 to go in it though. hopefully next one.

stud's great but at times it can be very card dependant which is a bit frustrating. the guy with a massive chip count in that satellite is such a crap player but has been sucking out and hitting cards all over the place.
