Good afternoon fellow SFA posters and in particular my team mates at the Royals, it is with a great privillage that today I announce my running for the Captaincy of the Gold City Royals and would like to ask for your support in this undertaking.

In the coming days the current Royals members will be asked to step up to the task of choosing a new leader of the club through a ballot of current Royals members. Most importantly, we need someone who will exhibit leadership and fortitude to take the mantle as one of the most feared clubs in the SFA. I know that many of you feel as I do..... that beneath our feet lies a well of untapped potential. We started this journey together with one common goal SUCCESS, we achieved this when we formed the Royals, we achieved this upon acceptance into the SFA, we achieved this when we won 6 times in our first season, but I WANT MORE do you?
If you should entrust me with the great responsibility of strengthening our club I have a few ideas to set up a structure within the Royals that no one else in this league has seen before.
My plan for the Royals would include a restructure of the current leadership group into three groups, this would allow every active Royals members to voice an opinion without feeling left out while also giving the Vice Captain(s) and Deputy(s) valuable leadership skills
.
Firstly i would implement a Senior Organising Comittee which would be looked after by the Vice Captain(s). The Gold City Royals Senior Organising Committee (GCRSOC) would deal with helping the league with macth day threads, league voting and so on and be made up of those that would like to participate and help with the club and league, ie the SFA Wiki, GCRoyals information threads, attracting new players and sponsors as well as end of season awards nights among other as yet undecided opportunities.
Secondly i would also set up a Gold City Royals Assistant Committe (GCRAC) with the Deputy Vice Captain(s) looking after the GCRAC. The GRCAC would help by posting club information, assisting with new club players and passing on the information to the GCRSOC among other as yet undecided opportunities.
The rest of the club will help to make the other two committees positions easier, from organising pie nights, to the location of the end of season trip among other as yet undecided opportunities.
I would also like to see a vote for the Captaincy either every second SFA season or every SFA season, the other positions would be every season, but this can and will be discussed if you vote for fumbler.
I will work closely with all Royals members that will in turn benefit this club for seasons to come.
All suggestions on how to improve the Royals will be discussed no matter how trivial
