A partnership between GFC and Barwon Health (maybe a $1.0Mpa from the Club) would buy a decent education, prevention and intervention program targeting kids in Child Care, Primary and Secondary Schools (not bloody Geelong College and Grammar). Could fund a dentist (1 EFT) hygienist and nursing hours.

Good point but that's the recruiter's problem.
You can only patch up a leaky bucket one hole at a time if you never bottom out.

Happily there is no rule dictating the dimensions of our footy (and cricket) grounds. I don't mind the idiosyncracies of the Litter Box (tho the smell is repellant) and I miss some of the suburban grounds while loathing the grey Stalinist Docklands (so poorly designed for a 'modern' stadium.

The most charming of the old grounds was the Lake Oval.

Within the next 20 years there will be a new Stadium in Sydney replacing the need for the SCG. Within the next 40 years there will be a purpose built 60k stadium on the site of the old Lake Oval. It will incorporate the old South grandstand and be designed to incorporate the beauty of the site. Improvements to PT are a doddle as is

The stadium will be the Bloods Melbourne home for 7 games a season and replace the failed Docklands venture.

The Bloods have the biggest supporter base in the nation. We always outnumber the Roos (who will be long gone), Dogs and often the Saints and Donnies at the shyte hole. At the G, unless they doing well we always outnumber the Dees and Hawf.

Surviving Melbourne based Clubs will be able to use the New Lake Oval aka The Bobby Skilton Stadium as well as the G.

he kicked 3 goals in the prelim one year later. So yes he would of been a hell of a lot better then lachie henderson who is a terrible foward and had been out injured all year himself.
