Genies

I'm currently in dispute with a recently discovered genie.

I maintain that I have an unlimited amount of wishes, ala I Dream Of Jeanie, but he persists in restricting me to three wishes, ala Aladdin's genie.

I have also been banned from wishing for an infinite amount of wishes, so this is off the table.

Has anybody else had any experience in negotiating with genies, or what the correct number of wishes should be?

You only get three wishes, but he isn't allowed to ban you from wishing for something, so if your first wish is unlimited wishes, then he has to oblige.
